How do you deal with a manager and upper management that don't listen to you & call you a liar?
it started after I voiced concerns (using the proper chain of command). I feel bullied, disrespected, and targeted by my manager. the way my manager interacts with me, I feel like I'm a child and unworthy of anything. my manager's body language appears to tell me that he/she doesn't value my opinion or concerns, and that he/she is not listening to me and appreciating my feelings. i feel I'm being open in our meetings and that he/she comes in with a preset mind, opinions, and no interest in improving our relationship or how to move forward- my suggestions are ignores. when I tell my manager the truth or repeat what he/she has said to me in the past, the response is always "that's not true" (when it is the truth!). people should not be afraid to voice their opinions and concerns (which is why everyone keeps quiet!). perhaps I need to record conversations?
