I don't know how to factor u(u-2v) - (2v-u)

could u show me the steps? thx!

u(u-2v) - (2v-u) = u(u-2v) - -(-2v+u)
u(u-2v) - -(-2v+u) = u(u-2v) + 1(u-2v)
u(u-2v) + 1(u-2v) = (u+1)(u-2v)
this is the distributive property in reverse. (For example, (a+b)(c+d) = a(c+d)+b(c+d), so a(c+d)+b(c+d) = (a+b)(c+d))

You multiply the u first and then add and subtract the numbers. Then you factor.
