I have met someone on the Internet that says he works for the Army, but not in Army, as a humanitarian doctor. Is this true.

what is the Tim difference between Houston & Afghanistan?

It might be the truth or just a scam because you've just met him online and know nothing about him. If you want to find out more about him, you should ask him questions about his career, as well as any other personal information that you would like to know. You can get the difference between the two countries at http://www.happyzebra.com/timezones-worldclock/difference-between-Houston-and-Kabul.php.

Meeting people on the Internet is not a wise way to meet people. You can have correspondence with someone which is quite harmless, but I would not give out any personal information. Stay careful.

A couple of years ago when I started playing face books I accepted him as a Facebook friend for games. He has started sending me messages through Facebook. I told him my age & that he is young enough to be my son. He doesn't care, but I do.

It is hard to say; the Army contracts civilians for many jobs in Afgnanistan, but many of them are natives. To check his credentials, you can ask for his employer and his boss's phone, or you can ignore this suggestion and go with the assumption that everyone online lies. The latter is likely not true but is abundantly cautious. Well, not safe, just cautious.

I'm moving to Las Vegas next month & will have a PO Box for a few months. That will work. I am not really interested in him. He is young enough to be my son.
