what he did is he paid the price for my sin! the last words that he said on the cross were" it is finished!" which means god can legally dismiss my case and I can walk out of the courtroom bc Jesus paid my fine in full! salvation is a free gift to all those who repent and trust in him! I believe in him because he fulfilled all the prophecies made about him exactly, when they were written way before he was even born. he spoke with the greatest authority in the history of man kind. even those that hated him could not believe the way this man spoke! he healed the sick, he cleansed the lepers , he raised the dead he forgave sinners . he claimed to be the way, the truth, and the life and that NO man come to the father but by him...all the attributes of God were in him! he was the son of God making himself equal with God! he knew his sole purpose on the earth was to die on the Calvary cross for the sin of the world! the word said it pleased the father to crush the son! he bore the weight of the worlds sin on his shoulders! the ONlY all sufficient savior! he was whipped almost to death, beat up, spat on nailed to a cross for hours! but he still knew his mission! to die for the sins of the world so that we ourselves wouldn't have to! he died but then rose from the dead and defeated death! the grab could not hold him! he's the king of kings and lord of lords! he paid the ultimate sacrifice for our sins that great day but the sad thing is most people want to pay their own bail, paying it with their very souls... salvation is a FREE gift to all those who repent and trust in him!

I believe in Jesus as my Lord and Savior because He became real in my life 30 years ago when He delivered me from the power of sin though the power of the Holy Spirit. And now He has healed me of stage 4 cancer. Praise Jesus!

Christ is my savior and redeemer, an unfailing friend and guide. He understands exactly how I feel because he suffered all for me. I know he is real and that he lives. He died for each of us and was resurrected 3 days later. I have felt so much peace in my life because he is there for me, always I my heart and on my mind.
Did you read the bible? The word "Christ" is the Greek translation for annointed or mesiah. The "annointed" was supposed to be a member of the Davidic line and could thus qualify as King of Judea. To be the annointed one or mesiah or king of the jews is tantamount to treason and the Romans would have naturally executed him. Also note that Cyrus was also called the messiah after he allowed the Jews to return to Judea. But we don't pray to Cyrus. Why would you pray to a wanna-be king?

It IS super far fetched. Genetic bottleneck prevents any species we see today from arising from a single mating pair. It's just plain silliness.
It's not even original silliness- the Noahide myth is an almost exact copy of the story of Unapishtim in the Epic of Gilgamesh. The Sumerians beat the Hebrews to that primitive tale by a couple thousand years.
