Should I take all honors in high school?

Are honors classes hard? I'm currently in 8th grade and will go to high school next year. I get A's and B's on my report cards but every once in a while, I get straight A's. My history teacher told the class that if we wanted to be in history honors, we would need to write him a page on why we think we should be in that class. I like history but it depends on what we are learning about.

NOOOOOOOOO! I can not stress this enough! My older sis is a freshman in high school and her first semester she had like 2 honors classes and she got hit SOOOOO hard with homework. And she said it was a pain in the ass! So to sum it up NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!
