Yes it really matter. Read the books of Acts. On how the church starts it really matter. Acts 2:38 is the key to salvation. The end of the book of revelation say whoever was not found in the book of the lamb was cast into the lake of fire. Jesus is the key to enteral life. They went into the water. You have to be baptized in the name. but it don't matter up or down but matter the name of how you went down
It doesnt matter. You can get sprinkled if youre afraid of water as long as you are old enough to understand what you are doing and why. Since Christ came we are freed from silly details like form and ritual as long as we do the action with a full heart it doesnt matter how or where. It is easier for someone to baptise you backward but not necessary.

Fully submerged in water. I've seen mostly face up or straight in. But fully submerged. This of course is a necessary act of "dying" to ones past sins, as Jesus died for all sins then was buried and rose again. You die to your old self become baptized- an actual change in self and then raised to new life-a new creation. you are no longer to act as you did in your sins but actually live as a new person-resolved. conscious of sin and how to deal with sin after baptism. Matthew 3:16-...Jesus went up out of the water.
