It normally takes 10 to 15 days to elect a new Pope once they go into the conclave.

It isnt complicated...but it is a mystery. It use to be a very public election... Public in the sense that it was not secretive. The election of the Pope has never been done outside of the Catholic church.

Our new Pope's name will be announced almost as soon as he's elected, and accepts the job; and he will probably appear on the usual balcony not long after that.
The Cardinals will try to elect him by this Easter! Rejoice with us when they do!
