It depends on the people. I dont think being gay or lesbian has anything to do with having a good or bad marriage. If they love each other than they love each other. But i dont think it would be "Better".
If children become involved I don't see it as better. Nothing taking away from anyone's parenting skills. But it will add confusion. In a generation or two it will be ok. Other then that people have the right to happiness.
I dunno, as a male flight attendant I have a lot of gay friends and they seem to have a lot more relationship problems than my straight friends ... (either that or they just like to talk about it more). I think divorce lawyers are gonna be makin' even bigger bucks than usual in the next ten years!
Same-sex parenting works just as well as opposite-sex parenting. The only negatives to same-sex parenting are a result of an anti-homosexual society placing obstacles in their way. Studies have shown that the gender of parents is far less of an issue than are the number of parents caring for the child.
We are lucky to have homosexual couples who are willing to provide loving homes for children cast off by irresponsible heterosexual couples. One reason that these children thrive is because a child never comes into a same-sex home "by accident". They always come into a home that wants them from Day One.

I think that it will be no different than the heterosexual marriages are now. I think that short-term, the divorce rate will be less b/c of those that have worked so hard to be able to marry their partner, but generations down the line, they won't know what those before them had to struggle through for it to be so. Motherless? Fatherless? Gay couples that have children, usually have them b/c they made a conscious effort to have them. There are very few accidents which can and do happen regularly with a heterosexual couple. And I do believe that there are plenty of kids out there now that are without a mother or father.....
First off, let me say that I am pro-same sex marriage and have nothing against homosexuals.
I think that they have every right to do as they please and are no different. But an interesting thought... everyone knows that unless exextraneous circumstances are implemented they cannot reproduce, so what happens with evolution and the passing on of those genes? or lacktherof? could being gay die out?
