REALLY UPSET . Why is it so difficult to do ? SF4 for PS3 .

I can't get Chun li to do her super or ultra .Buts its easy for me to do Sakura's or Cammy's . I'm really confused . I go to training mode and change the button confis what ever and nothing . I also press input to see what i'm doing wrong . I prefer to use the stick better then the pad . I've went on youtube to look up ways to do her ultra , but it still doesn't work for me . I do it when she's charged then try but nothing . I hear that's shes a charging character which makes it even more complicated . I changed my L2 to her MK+LK+HK . When I put my thumb on the stick and go fast , back , forward , back , forward but she jumps which doesn't count and messes up everything I know how to do her moves already .
