Is 92 pounds too "light" for a almost 16 year old girl who is 5'1?

I lost 7 pounds in 3 days when I was sick Dec 31 2012-Jan 2 2013 and I can't seem to gain 1 single pound! How can I gain weight?

According to BMI its a little underweight. I'm underweight too and have been calorie counting. The trick is to use sauce. Sauces like ceaser, ranch, or anything else lipid based like olive oil is high in calories. Use this website and create a profile: https://www.supertracker.usda.gov/default.aspx and it will have you put in your food intake and excercise each day

Really? The one I saw said I was on the 13th Percentile and underweight was at the 5th before I lost weight I was on the 21st

i was using the adult one so it may be different for a sixteen year old. I just added to my post something that would take that into account

According to that site, a healthy weight for me is between 88 and 151

Actually I made a mistake, so the healthy weight should be between 90-155. But I'm still healthy HOORAY!

Yeah that's not good to be that light. Just make sure you eat a lot of food.

Ask your doctor, don't shove food in your mouth though, i don't mean to be mean bur do you need more muscles?

It's not too 'light', but if you lose more it will become a problem. You can gain weight by eating more calories, mostly from fat and protein.

My Mom has been having me eat an extra meal and snack a day. Still haven't gained a pound, it's been 2 months!

Maybe your metabolism is really fast. How frequently do you eat? Eating more less often will slow it down and you'll probably gain weight.

I usually eat 3 meals a day like at sometime between 8-9 then 12-2 then 6-8 and a snack between 3-4 sometimes an extra meal between 9-11

We moved 3 times in 6 months but we're settled, for now. We've been here for 5 months. No, barely any caffeine. Only on holidays and special occasions, we have chocolate

...wow, I really don't know what it could be then... The last far fetched guesses i can imagine are extreme stress, pregnant, or a tape worm?

well do you stay up later than usual at night cuz if u do, you have a higher amount of metabolism.So don't shovel down food just eat a little more.
