What did we learn from prisoners of war camps?

Like, i'm writing an English paper, and I'm trying to state what the world learned from pow camps (IE: war is bad, value life, etc...)
EX: what the world learned from WW2- War does more harm than good...

Yes, when we approached to the wrong direction and we survived, but people still can't think we are good, and the conflicts still have to continue until the fittest one appear or until the world die.

There are something we can learn:

The ones who want to rule the whole world by force have to be defeated.

It is not possible to solve the problems in our society by war, I have to think that everyone of us want to be a good person by nature. Something must be wrong in our society, and we need to find out what's wrong exactly. We might be able to kill someone, but something is still wrong in our society.
