Don't approach it as a "Catholic" education but simply an education. What do you want to gain from such an education. How will this affect your career, options, life choices, etc. How will it make you into a better human being and a productive citizen. What are your plans to give back for what you received? Sell it. And good luck!
All 5 of my siblings went to Catholic schools & at least one of the benefits I'm aware of is the higher quality of education they offer as compared to public schools. Also, you should have a decent amount of knowledge in Theology, if that would affect your scholarship acceptance in any way... good luck! :)
Private schools tend to have smaller classes sizes so teachers can pay more attention to a students needs. Also because the schools are selective as to whom they admit they can keep any "bad elements" out, making the school a more learning friendly environment.
