Does bread soak up grease from your stomach?

I'm just wondering...

No, but your body does and creates fat deposits. Lol.

No. Even if it did the grease soaked bread is going to remain where it is. In the gut.

It does in a way, but not in your stomach. Soluble fiber binds with bile salts which binds with fatty acids in the small intestine. This limits the absorption of fatty acids since most of nutrient absorption from food occurs in the small intestine. But eating a lot of soluble fiber won't necessarily counter the effects of eating a diet high in fat.

Actually it does soak up acids. Like putting bread in water it will absorb the acid causing relief from stomach pains
