Sometimes when my headphones have a "short" in them, if I pull on wire of the side that's shorted out a couple of times, it will sometimes kick it back in.

You will have to open the wire and see if everything inside of it is connected.

Omg! I had that problem 2. One time it wasn't plugged in right and the next time i couldn't find a problem so I got a new one.

because the other one doesn't, ;)
maybe you played around with th cables and it loosened up on the inside or you could've dropped it too many times
