My long term dis. ins. co. called fri. and said my case was reviewed and is closing (after 5 yrs). I need advice and a good lawyer.

"They" only got an opinion froam one of my dr.'s and I have only seen 3x. He knows nothing about my mental illnesses and the negative impact that they have on my daily functioning. I live in MN. I will lose my house before long and I have four teenagers. I need advise. I need sug gestions regaring long term disability ins. lawyers and bankruptsy attourneys as well. Please help!

You need to talk to the doctor that is well acquainted with your medical history. They can give the records that can support your case in an appeal, which you should lodge. As for an attorney, check bestlawfirms.usnews.com/ for a law firm in your area that can handle your case.

Read the policy regarding appeals ... and if the other 2 doctors' opinions are contrary to the 1 they used, get those records and request they be reviewed in the appeal.
