how can i make my boyfriend not take me for granted? how can i make him appreciate and love me for who i am ?

He just does. You don't "force" someone to show affection, show effort and love and care. If he doesn't love you and cherish and take care of you for who you really are, then he's not worth it. OR you two need more maturing and growing up.

If he doesn't right now and that's why you are asking this question, dump him. You can't ask for love or force it.
