What motivates a man to fabricate untruths?
Went to college with a guy who recently messaged me out of the blue. I always thought he was cute, but was in a long-term relationship. We started to get to know each other a few months ago & he asked to be my valentine. He surprisingly bought a ticket to visit me, a teddy bear, chocolates, and a bracelet. We went out to eat, watched movies, hung out with my friends, and went exploring. He was sweet & smart. But he lied to me about his height & package. After he left, we still spoke but I was confused b/c he we were intimate and despite everything he said that we are friends right now b/c it's important to be friends before anything else. I felt we crossed the friendship line, though. Then he told me he slept w/ 31 girls when I asked, but after my shocked response, he told me a day later that it was a joke, and he didn't think I would be bugged out. I was honest when he asked me about my past, all of one guy (Although he doesn't believe me). I got upset because it is wrong to toy w/ emotions & wait that long to tell me. I even apologized after I came to terms w/ the number. He lost credibility. I sent him an angry response to which he never responded. It's been 2 days.
