I hurt my calf doing calf raises 2 days ago, it hurts from behind my knee to just above my ankle. I can't stand on it or flatten my foot.

I have iced it and have stayed off it as much as possible. I don't want to go to the doctor unless its a must. How long should I rest it before going to a doctor?

You should rest it for a couple of days, like three to four. Apply a cold compress to your calf muscle for twenty minutes every four hours, to reduce swelling. After the swelling has reduced, apply some heat with a heat pad several times a day. If the muscle gets worse, then you can visit a doctor. Ice is a good thing but so is working the muscle. You do not want to over rest it. It will tighten up. Keep stretching it out and keep putting ice on it. If this happened two days ago then time to rest is way over. Good luck.
