What can I do about this.

me and my mom have been fighting a lot recently I understand that I'm only 16 and I have to listen to my mom and be respectful but she just goes to far sometimes I'm never aloud to leave the house I have to do all the cooking and cleaning I'm not aloud to invite friends over not even on weekends plus I'm homeschooled so I don't even get to leave to go to school and I didn't do anything to lose her trust.

Tell ur mom about how not having a social life can effect you in the future like with jobs and communicating to get somewhere and for school you should tell her about what you can benefit from going to school you get educated on more and more help from teachers and from after school programs to more Do you think your mom maybe overprotective of you seems like she is.

I'm so sorry sweetie. A child shouldnt have to live that way, maybe you should ask her to go out with you and do something together. Just a suggestion.

Possibly she feels that you are nearing the age when you will leave her care, and it's causing her to "hang on" too tight. Perhaps you can reassure her that you're not going to vanish from her life as soon as you're eighteen, she will feel better about it a lighten up some.

You can back down early and simply agree with her - even if you don't. Then the heat will die off quicker and say you're sorry and stuff like that. (: Best of luck, hope it gets better! (:

Ask if you can join some clubs or youth groups. Explain that you need to develop your social skills to be a successful adult and these groups can help. It is a compromise you are still be social, yet you are being supervised. That should give her some sense of security.
