If the earth's mantle did not experience a difference in temperature what would happen?

Report as

Your question is not clear as to what you are actually asking. If the inside of the Earth was all the same even temperature, then Earth would be as dead as Mars. If the Earth's crust didn't change temperature, our weather would be dreadfully dull. It is the thermodynamics of our complex core that generates our magnetic field - the protection that retains our atmosphere and prevents us all frying with solar radiation. Does that cover what you wanted to know?

it would be constant. Same temperature (more or less) all the time. Life as we know it might be a lot different.
