A syndrome is a set of symptoms. When they exist together, they imply the presence of a specific disease or a greater chance of developing the disease. With fibromyalgia syndrome, the following symptoms commonly occur together:
anxiety or depression decreased pain threshold or tender points incapacitating fatigue widespread pain
She'll be okay as long as she's medicated properly and has strong willpower to trudge through the pain. Fibromyalgia is not fatal and it is still somewhat of a mystery to the world of medicine.. There is no official tests to diagnose it, just signs strongly suggesting it, as well as there not being factual answers as to to "how, what, and why" Fibromyalgia is caused. It is believed to be caused by over active nerves and to be extremely painful. Anyone who has ever experienced nerve pain knows that it's one of the worst types of pain. I suffer from a different kind of nerve pain and I can tell you that I'd rather break a bone on a daily basis.
