You need to pretty much shoot 40/40 at the qualifying range (with open sights on person sized targets, some of which are 300+ yards away) and i have only ever heard of one person doing that, and it took him 8 tries. In other words, if you are an uncanny shot with a hunting rifle, it doesn't really matter anyway. AND there needs to be a slot open.

Make sure your actually ready airsoft is nothing like real combat . You will have to knowingly kill others it's not something to take lightly . Go to a local recruiting station and talk to a recruiter .
First having a combat MOS is a big plus, be in top notch shape, be able to think fast on your feet, adapt to the surroundings (being a chameleon helps), being able to improvise, excellent vision, be able to lay in place for as long as it takes (days), very little fear, a complete understanding of the mission & of course an excellent shot. you'll need to understand the effects of wind, rain, smoke etc.it's a 1 shot deal. If you can be seen you can be hit, if you can be hit, you can be killed
You really want to blow peoples brains out for a living?
I don't think you have the first clue as to what that means. Kill a friends dog to see how you feel about it (not squirrel or deer hunting.) Watch the results of damage you do to the people who loved it first hand, then decide how "cool" it is.
I understand that your generation is grossly dehumanized, but once you do it... You'll never see things the same or quite fit in for the rest of your life.
