ryan I dont want to fight with you , I'm just stating a fact. If you alrady know the language, it's obviously not hard. But for people learning it, it simply makes no sense. Silent letters? Homonyms? There are many Confusing aspects of the english language that do not appear in any other language.

English is my second language and it was very difficult to learn, I know. I don't want to fight either but I'm just saying that there are languages that are just as difficult or even harder than English.

It depends on what your native language is. It's hard to go from Mandarin to English, but easy to go from Mandarin to Japanese.

English and Chinese. English because it is so complex andd Chinese because they don't have letters only symbols. Other Asian languages at least have an alphabet but Chinese it has a symbol to memorize for each word.

The hardest to learn of human languages I have calculated are Russian, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese etc.
