What can I drink when my mouth hurts?

I can't chew anything, and it even hurts my gums when food comes in contact with them. I can't eat anything too hot or cold (it will make my tongue hurt more). it's because I have the cold sore virus. So far I've been able to drink slim fast, milkshakes, (light) cream of wheat, cream of chicken soup, and tea.

water, juice, milk, soups, coffee, tea, punch, pretty much all liquids at lukewarm to slightly cool temperature.

Milk. Ice cold numbing milk. And water I guess. But that just kind of makes the hurting go away temporarily ... try porridge!
