Why won't Ask.com enforce it's own guidelines?

The community has answered the Pregnancy question a thousand times. The guidelines say they will ban a question if it has been repeatedly ask to many times. Some of the pregnancy questions and descriptions are way to graphic for children.

Repeat questions by the same user are not allowed, however if different users are asking the question (or similar), then those questions are not in violation of the Guidelines. Yes it's frustrating to continually see similar questions, but unfortunately that's just the way it is. It's a very popular topic, so I don't think it's going to change anytime soon.

Also sexual health questions are allowed, and we try to make sure that the questions being asked aren't overly explicit, however if you feel that we might have missed something please feel free to use the "report as" link, to bring it to a moderator's attention.

Well, I just saw one that was over the top, and I did report it! You guys know, I don't report much! I believe in freedom of speech. But some of this stuff is to graphic considering there are many under aged children in this community.

I think they need the vapid and banal questions to keep the website financially solvent. If it weren#039;t for those too lazy to be intellectually responsible and those who are addicted to the melodrama of answering the same questions like broken records there wouldn#039;t be much of a population logging in. I think it's similar to the whole Jerry Springer phenomenon.

Great question!

I'm surprised you didn't get deleted for a harsh question like that.

Yeah, I was waiting for the hammer. Usually they would delete me and leave the offending question up. Go figure! LOL

Same here.

It's unreal how someone can give an offensive and useless comment and not be deleted.

As soon as you respond then you get deleted.

I thought that only happened to me.

Nope, it happens to us all. And it's a shame! Some of these people deliberately ask foul and inappropriate questions and they let those questions stay posted for there for days. But the minute you voice disapproval, they delete you. We have kids as young as 12 and 13 in here. Not good, not good at all.
