Is Demarcus ware a linebacker or a defensive end?

I've heard he's a linebacker but he looks like he always plays defensive end? don't answer unless you really know

Demarcus Ware was originally a defensive end in the 4-3 scheme. But since the Cowboys switched to a 3-4 defense, Ware has switched to outside linebacker. In both positions they rush the quarterback the majority of the time but as a linebacker you expected to have some coverage skills as well. I found this info here..
