I believe I have an extremely small amount of paranoia and it's hard to sleep. I need ideas. Help?

I need somebody,(help!) not just anybody,(help!) you know I need someone, HEELP!

Get your iPod or MP3 player out. Lay down in bed, on your back. Cover up. Put your ear buds in your ears, turn the volume down, and close your eyes.

Listen to music and think about things that make you happy ( whether its your favorite food or thinking up some amazing story where you can do whatever you want) the point is to keep your mind distracted enough for you to doze off. Reading helps too.

I once read the paranoid was someone who had a real grasp on what was really happening. a healthy paranoia is a good BS detector, not to mention a decent defense mechanism. don't take it so hard. if it persist see a professional. i tried to attend a paranoid anonymous meeting myself once. i reached them on the phone, but I never could get them to tell me where they met. just a little levity. see things for what they are. if you're not doing anything wrong you've nothing to worry about. be kind to your mind.

Everyone is a little paranoid, its part of survival, you need it to stay safe. So let it be and appreciate what it can do for you. Get a routine for sleep and promise yourself to hold off on solving all sorts of problems until morning, there is a whole day for doing that.
