What can I do to stop being depressed and to stop cutting?

I'm depressed an need a way to feel better: I'm under-age so I can't drink or smoke.

Talk 2 someone. I was severely depressed for years i didnt cut myself but i cried threatened 2 kill myself and was just very unhappy. I didnt go 2 therapy I had friends who would let me talk 2 them and vent. Or id listen 2 some inspirational music. Ud b surprised how much 1 single inspirational song can help u through the hardest days. Please stop though ur life is so precious. U have got 2 believe that u r a beautiful strong and amazing person. never think less of yourself. you are perfect the way you are.

Go to your doctor, tell your parents to take you and if you don't wanna tell your parent's, tell them it is a confidential thing between you and your doctor.

Drinking or smoking are not the solution !
Being depressed is about having deep issues and feelings that you need to express out, you need to open your heart to someone you really love and trust, someone that is close to you like a dear friend or a close relative.
And if you don't have any, there is always God there for you, who is always happy to hear from and never bored to listen..Cry to him and you will feel better.

Talk to someone who has over come depression and listen to there story and how they stopped cutting or talk to a professional like a doctor,counselor,parents get help or write down what makes u depress and fix it or what makes u happy and do what makes u happy more to get ur mind off the depressing things

Read the Bible. God loves you and is there for you. Honestly think about your life. Cutting yourself doesn't help you at all O_Oll

Tell somebody first. You need somebody that will stop you if you ever decide to do something stupid. Start drawing, listening to music, exercising, singing, dancing, sewing, story writing, acting, do anything that will take your mind off of the sadness. You could try antidepressants (they made me feel too weird just to let you know). I really really hope you stay strong!!! <3 <3

I'll tell you first hand smoking and drinking don't help listen to comedy radio exercise you also cam go to a petting zoo just some things that can make you smile

If you want you can tell someone, your choice, but try to put your focus on something else, meaning instead of cutting when you are depressed, try hitting a pillow, or even throw things around, and slowly try to totally stop with that and try to turn negative into positive, but I'm telling you to throw things around instead because cutting is more unhealthy then you think, Good luck, you can do it ! :)
