How to get my dog to stop eating his poop?

My 10 month old puppy was given Forbid, and pineapple, but he still eats his poop. Even when I'm right there he eats it. How can I stop him? Any training methods? I'm scared if we have to give him back.

take him out on leash teach the (leave it) command it can take some time to learn but worth it. also pick up his poop after he's done every time so their is no poop to eat. good luck

he's on a leash, you pull him away and you scoop it up before he can.......

Honey calm down. Spray it down with ammonia, dish soap and water. That will turn him off real quick.

My dog had this problem, and so did my friend's dog. There's something you can get from your Vet that you sprinkle on your dog's food. It will make their poop undesirable to them and won't want it any more. It worked for our dog. My friend is trying to break the habit without it, but not having any luck.

Feed him pinapple slices in his food and when its digested they hate the taste garentee he will stop make sure he eats the pinapple cover in peanut butter or somthing feed him at leaste five little slices every meal and see if he will eat his poo then
