Division among believers. When bicker and fight over man made creeds and doctrines or over matters that really have nothing to do with our salvation. We are so split on our own beliefs we tend to ignore what God is really calling us to do. We have so many Denominations I lost count and even our denominations have factions or mini denominations. Then the world sees us like this and how are they going to believe Gods truth when we can't even see it ourselves. Until Christians start Listening to God instead of all the rules and regulations we try to live by then Gods truth will elude us. This is the very reason Jesus came. The Jews became too legalistic and forgot the spirit of the laws of the covenant and we are doing the exact same thing now.

Spiritual blindness? Wow. What is the major source of spiritual weakness that compels so many believe in archaic, unsupported fables? Your biased attempt to discredit nonbelievers as damaged or delusional is weak, if not just silly.
Your god himself. Understand this: (Matthew 22:16): "Many are called, but few are chosen".
Can there be anything more perverse, more savage and more mean than this verse? If the Christians confirm that their god is all that they claim him to be, then it is only logical that instead of man asking this god for forgiveness, what actually should be is that this God should ask the forgiveness of man for his tyranny.
Isn't it just as if a father with AIDS should punish his child for AIDS because the child has that congenital disease for which the father is solely responsible? For such a God I have no words to express my loathing and contempt, and all the words in all the languages of man would scarcely be sufficient. Such a sadist god is not worthy of our worship, but be loathed; should be despised, not revered! Away with such a God! I would take my chances, if I must, with Jupiter rather, with Io and Europa, or even Siva with his neckless of skulls and snakes.
