If I apply for 2 to 3 credit cards in a week to see which credit card I will get approved, will my credit score go down each time I apply?

I would like to apply and get approved for at least 1 of 2 to 3 credit cards I am planning on applying in a week span. Will my credit score go down every time I am applying for credit card in the same week.

Yes, it will! You should wait at least 6 months after applying for the first one to apply to the second one.

Your credit score will go down every time you apply. Therefore, it is important to limit the number of times that you intend to apply so that your score cannot go down.

Yes!! If you are unsure if you will be approved of a credit card, chances are you won't be. Applying for multiple credit will only harm your credit score. Instead, ask your bank if they offer "subsidized" credit cards. It's like a pre-pay card but it's a program offered by banks to help gain credit. How it works: Like a pre-paid card, you will have to pay a deposit depending on the amount of credit you are eligible for ( $500 for $500 credit or $300 for $1300 credit etc.) This will act like a real card and will help raise your credit score through credit unions. Over time, if you use your card correctly your credit score will be at a higher level and your deposit will be released.

Never get a credit card. Do as others have said and go the prepaid route. If you don't have the money to buy something you want. Save for it. Credit cards are nothing but trouble.
