CCstar, how about keeping healthy foods around. Craving sweets? Try fruits instead of cookies. At least if you binge on apples, you're not getting near as many calories as a box of Oreos!
I know certain times of the month, I eat more than other times. I keep more fruits around the house. That way when I'm feeling "hungry" I can just go munch on some apples. Otherwise my favorite binge food is ice cream, and I can eat a whole carton if I allow myself.

If you're really wanting to work on the binge eating thou, ask yourself before you eat anything, "Why am I eating this". It really makes you think about eating something before you do. My answer a lot of times, is because I'm bored. Then instead of eating, I find something to do with myself.
Also keeping a food journal may help. Write down how you are feeling before you eat. This is pretty much the same thing as above, but you have physical "proof" of your reasonings. Then you can correct the problem from there.

get some sunflower seeds, there are millions of them, they are tiny, they are fun to crunch on, they fill you up pretty well and they have no callories.

"Binge" on the new you waiting to "get" out. Yes, what one perceives is often achieved. FFF - Focus - Flow - Flourish (more than surviving). God Speed.
