It's like a bee sting or a pinch - sudden sharpness and *maybe* a little bit of an ache afterwards. Your doctor could pierce your ears for you, they have a thing kinda like a stapler that pierces your ears really really fast.
It only hurts right after the earring is in. It's like someone pinching you with their fingernails. Ask someone to pinch your earlobe really hard and that's basically how it feels for the next few hours, and possibly day. The people who pierce your ears use a gun-like thing that just pokes the earring right through your ear so fast that when it happens you don't really feel it until about ten seconds later.
I agree w/ LivingLifeInPeace, it's totally OK, as long as it's just the lobe. Also, I recommend doing it is a store called Claire's, because they can do 2 people piercing both of your ears at the same time, which makes the so called, "pain" go by faster. I hoped this helped! ;)
Honestly it's not that bad it's a little Sting but it doesn't hurt bad and try re a little sore after wards but the next day they should be ok. Just make sure to clean them with rubbing alcohol everyday
