Where the fuses are for the check engine light
There's no fuse that for the check engine light. All the indicator lights would be affected.Get your car scanned for free at an autozone or advance store. The code will tell what's wrong. If you get the engine running right you will save gas.
The only fuses that I know the placement of are under the hood, or the side panel on the dash. Usually on the drivers side. Also will depend on the make model and year of vehicle as well as type.
The fuse will be for the instrument panel, not a specific indicator.
Try removing the ecm fuse found in the fuse panel. There is no exact fuse for the check engine light hence the most commonly used is the ecm fuse. It is also used to clear the code.
