I don't think we need to use the kind of lotion special for eyes. Sometimes our eyes could look worse because we use it.

They make something called Eye Cream, I think Walmart sells it on the isle with the face creams. It is supposed to be gentler than other lotions.

Eye cream, every manufacturer from from the drugstore kind to the expensive brands at Macy's and Nordstrom counters has an eye cream, and so many purposes! Reduce puffy eyes, eliminate dark circles, reduce laugh lines, tones and lifts, and plain old hydration, you won't have any trouble finding eye cream.

:) nice, I used to have a dog (Australian Apricot Labradoodle) named Charlie but when my dad's girlfriend 0f 10 yrs and her kids (my half sister and unrelated "sister") moved out the dog went with them and my dads new girlfriend wants my dad and I to get a pet so we arne't as lonely and I think a pet (like a dog) is worth the exersize and I've grown up with dogs my whole life so life is awkward without one :)

You are so right, a house is not a home until there's a dog in the family! If you could have any breed, what would it be?
Report as
A Chihuahua since they're so cute and since they're the perfect dog to carry around because they don't weigh much... also I've heard that smaller breeds of dogs live longer :) My aunt has three Chihuauas and they're so cute, full of energy, HAPPY, and never last and never least one of them loves to playfully nip at your toes. This is why I love Chihuauas. :)

and want a Chiuahua :) If I wern't to have a dog I think the runner ups would be Cat, Bunny, Bird ( a bird that can be held, not freek out), turtle (slow, low maitnance), or a snake because my dad used to have one and it was so darn fascinating :) What would you want as a pet (and some runner up pets if you didn't have a dog (or wanted more pets)?

Hi Purple, I am two things that will interest you. First I'm a mom of 4 kids and we've had just about all the pets that are legal. Dogs and cats of course, and Guinea pigs, hamsters, a trained rat, fish, a baby frog we nursed back to health, hermit crabs, rabbits, birds, a family friend had a boa constrictor that finally got to big to be a pet, and lord knows what I'm forgetting. Each of these pets were way more work than dogs or cats. Not just feeding and cleaning, but because they lived in cages we needed to spend time with them (not the fish lol) lots and lots of time, tv and game time, they weren't made live in cages so we enhanced their lives by keeping them company.
The one pet on your list we almost had was a tortoise, researching reveled they ate A LOT and pooped even more, so we decided against that one.
Secondly, I'm a professional dog trainer, I've worked with most breeds either in my classes or for rehabilitation. In fact I have Pomeranian/Poodle mix in rehab right now. We are down to 1 dog and 1 cat as family pets. My favorite dog breed is the German Shepherd (GS) but I'm a convert! When my youngest wanted her own dog we got Daisy, in my profile pic, and I confess I love this dog as much as my long gone soulmate GS, Eva.
So you want a Chihuahua! I know why you like that breed but let me add a few things. Make sure your dad won't get tired of the barking, more like ear-piercing yapping, this is #1 reason people give them up. If he ok's this then there's no other reason not to get one.
Tips, start training the minute you get her/him, keep it on a leash for the first couple of weeks so it learns the rules right away, most people bring dogs home and let them "be" for weeks or months but this is backwards, teach your dog what TO DO instead of having the dog try to learn from it's mistakes.
When looking, check the Chihuahua rescue groups in your area, this way you'll know the personality and health history, so much easier than trying to pick out the right one from a litter! But if you do go for a puppy don't take it till its at least 8 weeks old.
Omg, This is a long comment, hopefully not tmi. I can talk about animals for days with barely a breath of air, so if you have any questions or comments send them along, and keep in touch, I'd love to hear about what your getting. (-;

wow that was a long comment, I'll keep you updated on what animal my dad and I are going to get Sea_Trish!

To make an update feasible I've followed you, follow me back and you'll not have trouble finding this spot. Go Chihuahuas--

followed you back! for now I'm going to keep my pillbugs since they're all bredding and now i have many little colored pillbug and also if I can find one I'm going to catch frogs and a gardner snake, I'm thinking about fish and so is my dad.
Report as
So it's fish then, bet your excited! I didn't know pillbugs came in colors. We rescued a baby North American Tree Frog and I swear he knew we helping him, he was so calm and friendly and seemed content, we debated whether to keep him but in the end we set him free in a bush right next to where we found him on our porch. Anyway, glad to hear you're making progress on the big decision.
Report as
my pillbugs I dyed for a science experiment so th coloring them was a lot of my grade and intentional :) It's actually fish, frogs and tadpoles, snake, and my pillbugs :)

I have a pet Gardner snake... do you know how much you can handle it? like in a week? :)
Report as
Hi, glad to hear from you! So here's what I know. It matters if it's captive bred or wild. If you got it from a pet store or breeder then it came with instructions.
If you caught it wild, do lots of research so its happy and healthy. It'll need time to adjust to you, the food you feed it, and stuff like that, let your snake, (have you named it yet?) guide you. If it appears to be stressed you'll need to keep handling time short, if it's mellow, inquisitive, eating well, moving around, then handling often is probably ok.
Also, garter snakes are diurnal (funny word for daytime, makes me think of a bathroom), active in the morning and late afternoon, during the winter then it active only on warm afternoons.
I don't know much about snakes, and only know this much cuz we have a habitat close by and activists were trying to get designated status, so this subject's in our local paper a lot.
I'm happy you have a family pet now, lucky snake!

I also have a frog, a pregnant newt, and another newt :)

Report as
all my newts and frog ran off so now I have four salamander/newts (i don't know which they are) Spike (my first pet Gardner Snake), Sherbert (a smallish yelow and orange striped Gardner Snake), Skittles (another yellow Gardner Snake) Skittles and Sherbert are quite new so they've been jumpy, as for Spike is happy and chill when I'm handling him and when I'm not. I also have a what apeers to be female frog since it's stomach is rather large and I'm looking for a mate for her. I used to have tadpoles outside in a container but the heat killed them off. I'm happy with my pets .. also pillbugs and crickets for the larger pets to eat/ other pets. I just worry about the month of June because I'll be gone for a week on a feild trip and my pets are my responsibility so I need to arrrange a pet sitter or persuade my dad to care for them. and the summer time is another worry because I leave my state to go visit relatives in another and I'll need to go by car to have my pets come down with me or by plaine as usual but have them released? but releasing them is a step too much for me. They help with me finding a time killer and an anxiety killer, since having Spike and the rest of my pets I've been nearly 100% anxiety free and to add to the pet list I may get a kitten from a family friends cat when it's ready to be weened fronm its mother.

and after it gives birth to it for it's still pregnant

I would use a lotion that is unscented and the first ingredient is water.
