Yes, He could be, according to certain religions. Judas, if everything was destined to be, prearranged. He played a essential role in the tragedy. He felt remorse and was truly sorry, evident in his suicide. If a person is truly retentive, sincere, like the good thief on the cross. heaven is possible.
I have wondered this myself .. He DID take the betrayal money back and he was terribly sorry for what he had done. Even though he hung himself... He was truly sorry . Only God knows... ACTS 1 says......
18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. 19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.
No. He betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. Money was more important to him than God was. You can't love money more than God. If you do, you ain't gonna reach Heaven. Hell is the rightful place for him. God had a plan for him, and He wanted Judas to reach Heaven. But when Judas refused to listen, God closed the Gates of Heaven and opens the Doors of Hell.
The Bible clearly indicates that Judas was not saved. Jesus Himself said of Judas, "The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born" (Matthew 26:24). Here is a clear picture of the sovereignty of God and the will of man working together. God had, from ages past, determined that Christ would be betrayed by Judas, die on the cross for our sins, and be resurrected. This is what Jesus meant when He said He would "go just as it is written about him." Nothing would stop the plan of God to provide salvation for mankind.Read more: http://www.gotquestions.org/Judas-saved.html#ixzz2N4EIYqj8
In the bible it says that a person that loves the things of the world does not love god. Judas loved the world because he betrayed Jesus for money. I am no god to judge but what he did is against the bible so I think he is going to hell.
No! Even though he was a chosen deciple, he was not a true believer! Scripture says that as soon as Jesus spoke those words to Judas(go-do what you must do)Satan entered him. If he had been a true believer, Satan could not enter him. Only the non believer can Satan enter. The believer was protected by the Holy Spirit! Now-a-day, the believer is SEALED by the H. S. BUT----hE did go and give the money back and told them it was wrong! but i dont think he repented.... he hung himself!
