What age should a child get their first teeth cleaning

Report as

According to a dental website, you should start cleaning the teeth of an infant as soon as the first pair appears. You can use a cloth to clean the teeth and then progress to a soft baby toothbrush. It is also advisable to take a child to a dentist as soon as they get the first teeth as stated by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. This is according to reference from, http://pediatrics.about.com/cs/pediatricadvice/a/dental_health.htm.
