Do you know anything about antique binoculars?

I bought a pair of antique binoculars from an estate sale and I'm trying to get more information on them and figure out what they might be worth. On the eye piece it says Marchand Paris. I'm posting a picture below.

I did that and found out their from the civil war but it didn't give a price. My dad's a civil war buff so I'm going to give them to him for fathers day and let him do the rest of the research. Plus it will keep him out of my mom's hair for a while...... This is what I found out. Not a bad find for $25.

I'll let you guys know. I also got an old swiss army watch in great condition for $2 I looked that up and it's wirth about $275. They had no idea what their dad had and were just selling everything.... lucky me!!!!
