Yes I have a child with Autism.. In the 2nd grade call inland Regional Center in San Bernardino ... And you can get help with your child's IEP ... For school were in the MVUSD ... If you need anymore help just let me kno ill e mail you more links ... Also look up taca stands for talk about curing Autism .. There in the in the Orange Co. Area but its supports groups all over .. And one thing that helped was a Diet and seeing a Dan Dr.. Good luck

my son is also Ethan is also in the second grade! we do have a worker with regional Ctr...thanks! We are working on a new IEP because he was in an SH (severally handicap) class and I was not sure that an SH class was the Fontana best class...so finally they re-evaluated him and in Janurary he was placed in a SDC (special day class) and its been going good...so basically I was just wondering if you or anyone you know have gone thru any similar experience?

Yes myself ... I put my son in regular classes with a one on one Aid .. To help him stay focus .. He goes to RSP for 45 min each day just for .. Reading and see OT for handwriting .. May I ask if your son is verbal? Have you tried the diet

he is verbal,he started talking after age three and now he talks well...I'm wondering how you got a one on one aid...Fontana school district says they dont have the budget...He has not been on a special diet but I don't let him have sugars.

There is always funding with special education ... They try to tell you that since the school has to pay for it.. My son has had a aid since kindergarten .. It's a fight to be honest .. I'm in the Moreno Valley school district ... Have your irc case worker go with you.. As a parent you can have a IEP at anytime also call Fontana school district and have some one from special Ed .. Be there .. The best thing is to have your son with his peers...

thanks...I do have an IEP soon...So I will talk with the special ed.department and his IRC worker...I agree that getting what your child deserves is a fight even though it shouldn't be...I've been looking into good goals for a Special day class because his goals in the SH class were so different but the teacher has been willing to help with this so hopefully I will like this new placement for him...I really need to thank you for your help
