Why can't I use my d.s pen on my iPad?

I try to use my Nintendo d.s pen on my iPad but it doesn't work. The only thing that works on my iPad is any part of my body, anybody know why?

Because iPads touch screens are detected by heat in a human being's body :)

Also because the styluses is not meant for the I pad

The Nintendo DS pen will not work on the iPad. This is because it's made to sense the body and not any other object although Pogo writing tools are also known to work on the iPad. Check out http://tenonedesign.com/products.php?application=iPad.

Because the DS stylus is plastic. You need some sort of fabric for the iPad to react to a stylus. You can find these pens in GameStop or RadioShack for (I'm guessing) $15

iPads are heat sensitive so something the screen touches besides your skin can't unlock your iPad. So a stylus wouldn't work because it needs body heat to operate.

I use a stylus all the time! It has a rubber tip! 7/11 has them for $5.00! I just got a new one yesterday!
I've always used a stylus!
