If you believe there is an all knowing and all powerful god who created everyone and everything, you can always ask him. After all, if you believe he exists, and you believe he is all powerful and all knowing then you believe he can hear you. So ask him.
I suppose it's the same reason that drives us to want to have kids. I mean the people who decide to have kids on purpose, that is. We realize it's a big responsibility and it's a big headache at times but the love you have for your kids is like nothing else on earth. Even if you don't get fully appreciated or understood all the time.

THIS WHAT CATHOLICS BELIEVE: This is from the bible,"Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made." (John 1:3) Yes. He did create us. He also created the first humans which were Adam and Eve. He made the earth, all creatures, mountains, any bodies of water, etc. He created everything that you can feel, touch, and see. Man used materials that were made by God to create houses, buildings, and other structures.
He doesn't have to explain Himself to anyone. Please refrain from spelling the word with a "g". It is spelled with a capital letter G . To show respect for His Name.Talking about the God of the Bible of course.
This is the problem with Christianity and all other religions. They're so much about the purpose in life but they can't possibly explain WHY their gods created man. They can explain how, but they can't explain why.
Colossians 1.6, All things were created by Him and for Him. Revelation 4.11, You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory honor and power, for You created all things and by Your will they were created and have their being.
Being created for God's pleasure does not mean humanity was made to entertain God or provide Him with amusement. God is a creative Being and it gives Him pleasure to create. God is a personal Being and it gives Him pleasure to have other beings He can have a genuine relationship with.
" The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever."Psalms 37:29 (New International Bible) "The righteous themselves will possess the earth." And they will reside forever upon it." (NWT) Obviously, this has not happened yet. People now get sick and die; they even fight and kill one another. Something went wrong. Surely, however, God did not purpose that the earth should be as we see it today! What happened? Why has God's purpose not been fulfilled? No History book written by man can tell us because the trouble started in heaven. The first book of the Bible tells of an opposer of God who showed up in the garden of Eden. He is described as "the serpent," but he was not a mere animal. The last book of the Bible identifies him as "This great Dragon --the ancient serpent called the Devil, or SATAN the one deceiving the whole world--was thrown down onto the earth with all his ARMY ". Revelation 12:8 (Living Bible). This powerful angel, or invisible spirit creature, used a serpent to speak to Eve, even as a skilled person can make it seem that his voice is coming from nearby doll or dummy. By using lies and trickery, Satan the Devil caused Adam and Eve to disobey God. The situation might be illustrated with a pan used for baking bread. If the pan has a dent in it, what happens to each loaf made in the pan? Each loaf has a dent, or an imperfection, in it Similarly, each human has inherited a "dent" of imperfection from Adam. That is why all humans grow old and die. Rom. 5:12. It is good to think about these thoughts, because each of us faces similar issues today. Yes, you have the opportunity to support God's side in answer to Satan's challenge. Sadly, only a few among the billions of people in this world make such a choice. This raises an important question, Does the Bible really teach that Satan rules this world?? I don't debate with people on this site, they are entitled to their option. What are you going to do??
"for His pleasure." Revelation 4:11 says, "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being." Colossians 1:16 reiterates the point: "All things were created by him and for him." Being created for God"s pleasure does not mean humanity was made to entertain God or provide Him with amusement. God is a creative Being, and it gives Him pleasure to create. God is a personal Being, and it gives Him pleasure to have other beings He can have a genuine relationship with.
