What helps you feel alert when you're tired?

other than the obvious nap: I tried that, and it was too hard to sleep because it was so loud in my house. it's quiet after half an hour now, but now I can't sleep because I need to get things done: but it's hard to think, I feel like I could pass out any second, and my head ki.lls. what helps you? thanks in advance!

Fresh air, loud music. A nice walk. Any time of exercise. 5hr energy drink if you have kids...there are days I am overloaded with a lot of things to do not enough time and I'm way to tired or lazy to do any of them. Or it seems endless pointless because the kids just go behind and undo everything I just did. I have a treadmill , half hour WALK seems to boost my energy level tremendously for the whole day. I was amazed when I realized this. I would try a half hour walk in the morning your whole day will be refreshing. If its like right now...I'd go for 15 min stroll or an energy shot...monsters take to long to be effective when u need it quickly in my opinion. I've tried both.

Go outside in the sun and take a nice walk ! Come back and drink some cold water and you'll feel better . Good to get out and flex your muscles ! The Lactic acid will help wake you up ! Give it a try !

Thanks John :) lol I do believe I asked this q before: I usually sleep quite well but when I don't, I don't function well aha. Maybe I'll work on my paper outside! :D (if it's not too windy like it has been lately.)

Oh my goodness, I'm feeling the exact same way, so sleeeeppppyyy. I'm going to go run around the side of the house, that usually wakes me up. Also, I can toss a cup of water onto my face (or drink the water...), and shake my head a bunch. Good luck!!
