Yes. She also will be forced to buy a data plan. If u r wondering what a data plan is....it is if you are at your child's baseball game and you wanna get on Facebook or something like that. She just turns on her data so she can get Internet without a connection to wifi link. All the carriers will make you pay for data with a smartphone. There is no way to sneak out. Believe me... I tried it and paid a large bill. If you have any other questions just ask

Your grandma will have to pay for both he iPhones and the 2-year contract for the phones. The data plan allows the customer to access internet anytime even without Wi-Fi connection.
