What does the expression "humor me" means?
they say it in books and movies but i never knew what it meant

It means to make me laugh. Like if someone say "humor me" when someone asks if they can say something, it means like "sure, but it's probably going to be absurd and make me laugh"
I'm assuming when Someone wants to hear a joke
I think it means that the person wants someone to make them laugh. It guess it really depends on what's going on.

It means to go along with what I'm saying or suggesting, even if you might not agree.
