Should I have told him how I feel?

my bf left the country and we haven't talked much since he left and I got mad and Msged him that I feel neglected and I asked if he was cheating and to make a long story short I ended up calling him a bad name. The next day I felt bad and I apologized and told him how I really feel that I love him. should I have told him that or not? should I just stop talking to him and wait to see if he will get back in touch with me?

It is alright that you told him just how you feel about him and that you apologized for calling him a bad name. However, you should also tell him to communicate more often, so that you don't feel neglected. You should also ask him if he still wants to be in a relationship with you, so that you can work things out once and for all.

I've told him how I feel neglected and I asked if he could communicate with me more. He apologized for it but he never attempted to communicate. I haven't asked him if he wants to continue the relationship but I did give him the option of us going on break for a while and he didn't say he wanted that. I'm afraid to text him back because he might ignore me.

You were right to tell him you loved him and if you hadn't where would you be now? He'd think you didn't and you might've broken up sooner than you were ment to.
Try to talk to him and tell him how you feel. Figure out a way to stay connected so you won't feel so neglected anymore.
And no, it's never wrong to tell someone how you feel. I'm fact that's usually the best thing you can do. :)
