I am non-custodial parent. When my child comes to visit 2x a mo, do I have to provide a separate room for her to sleep in?

that depends on a few things. the state you have the custody in and the state you live in, custody agreements from your divorce paperwork, the age and gender of the child, how the sleeping arrangements are made ( same bed, separate beds), local laws, etc.

maybe make a guest room where anyone coming for a visit can sleep in

It is not necessary to do that because he or she is your child and not a stranger. Being a non custodial parent does not mean that you cannot be free with your child.
