What event or person has the most significant in your life?

Report as

Without a doubt, my husband of 28 years is the most significant person.
I really can't pinpoint a single event. I've had many "ah ha" moments in my life. Surprisingly, they are often quite simple. The right person was there to say the right thing. I doubt many would even remember the conversations.
For example, I realized that self motivation was important when my father made a flippant remark about his expectations. I didn't earn my award to impress him, and future awards were not due to his demands. We never discussed it, so I doubt he realizes that he did me that favor. Others were kind remarks that lead me to be gentle with myself and others. So many wonderful people have made a tremendous difference in my life! :)

I think it's just your inner demon coming out. After all, Santa is just Satan spelled incorrectly........

My mom. Without her homeschooling and support I probably wouldn't be the person I am now. My Aspergers would still control me.

My wife. She made me realize that it's not who you are, it's what you are in life.
