Why does my upper abdomen cramp when I blow my nose?

When you blow your nose, pressure is exerted on the sternum which is located on the upper abdomen. This pressure leads to pulling of the sternum muscles when you blow so hard. You should visit a doctor for check up of you feel that the upper abdomen pain is getting worse.
