Does life insurance pay for person who assumed to be dead, but body never found?

Person went to forest and never came back. Nobody found his body. Police reported as a missing person. Person has a term life insurance. Does insurance is going to pay to his family?

That depends on your policy, a family member of mine had to deal with this. They will but only if the policy covers whats known as Death in absentia. And like Caitlyn said you only have so long to file the claim, call the insurance company and inquire. You also need to be able to prove they have disappeared and not just run off.

There is a certain amount of time before you can collect it, and if he comes back you have to pay it back

After 7 years, they pay!
I know cause my sister was missing 6 years & 9 months before they found her remains!
