They make safe dog dyes. I don't recommend dying all of their fur because it fades after awhile, so it'll look ugly. And make sure you have the time and money to get it redone. My puppy has a pink stripe on his back and he looks adorable! >.< Make sure you get it professionally done, though!

People that dye their dogs hair (They actually have competitions for that) will use natural colorings or even food coloring. Just make sure it is 100% animal safe and washes out EASILY....and keep it away from their eyes..
I litteraly just kool aid dyed my dog! take 4-5 packs of unsweetened kool aid (smaller dog) mix with a little dog conditioner and a little water to form a paste like the human hair dye. Then just use a 1"-2" paint brush to gently brush onto your dog. leave on fr 15-20 minutes rince off dry wwith towel and wahla! I did my Jack Russel/ Rat Terrier pink! Worked like a charm cost $1.08 isnt toxic and stays for a couple weeks but will wash off in a bath! :)
